Truffle Burrata

Made for us by an expert cheesemaker in Wisconsin, this Truffle Burrata uses the contrasts of its constituent ingredients to great effect, with each opposing aspect accentuating the other. The fresh mozzarella’s soft chewiness heightens the richness of the cream inside, which in turn is enhanced by the umami notes of the black summer truffle mixed within. It makes an excellent appetizer or side dish, especially when served with pasta or pizza, and even tastes amazing when melted directly onto of a wood-fired pizza, itself. For an even more thrilling mix of flavor and texture, try it on top of a crisp, simple salad, drizzled with just a touch of olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
